NIna is a fun and very playful puppy.
She earned the nickname of lil' tornado at the CDCA specialty when I took her in
the ring and she zoomed around in circles and went every which way all at once.
She is quite active to say the least. I co-own Nina with my daughter,
Rachael and her husband, Shawn. Nina is very gentle and sweet with my grandaughter, Ava.
Nina has six points and Reserve to a major at
the North Star Herding Group show in Lake Elmo, MN on August 21, 2009. The
next weekend she created a new version of the tornado when she slipped out of
the lead in the ring and ran as fast as she could in circles around the ring at
least 30 times. I couldn't catch her and finally she zoomed close enough
to me that I scooped her up. I was very thankful that she didn't realize
she could have jumped the ring because we were at an outside show.
Oh...did I tell you it had rained 10 inches the day before this show, so she was
running through a couple of inches of water and mud, too.
