Welcome to my Cozyweb!!

New Stuff, More later.  Updated 16 October 2003.

47 Months!

Taxi out for first flight.  Radio Call:  Experimental Seven Five Zero Charlie Zulu, at the west hangers, with Hotel, taxi for departure, first flight.

Response:  The official stuff, then "Should I close my eyes?"

My response: "I plan on closing mine!"

This site is neither endorsed by or affiliated with CO-Z or Nat Puffer.

This site is to document some of my progress in building a Cozy Mk IV.  Please recognize that this site reflects my opinions and observations.  As Rolf Smith says:  "There's a lot I don't know that other people think they do know.  I'm not sure I fully understand everything I know about stuff. Similarly, I'm never sure how much of what I say is true. I'm me and I'm a bit diffferent, and I'm an innovation."

I will make the site fancier as I go, then again, maybe not.

My basic philosophies on building.  I want to build a nice plane, but I am not setting off with the goal of creating a piece of art.  This is to be a flying machine.  At the same time, I will lean on the experts around me for guidance and assistance in creating the best machine that I can.  There are too many 'showplanes' still under construction after 6 years or more where the builder could have been flying.  But this is just my opinion.

"I can see further because I stand on the shoulders of giants."  Newton, I believe.  There are many other builders who have shared their time by documenting their projects for others.  One of the best COZY sites that exists, and has links to many other Cozy sites, is Marc Zeitlin's Unofficial Cozy Builders' Website..  Marc maintains the mailist and archives which contain a wealth of information.

I hope you enjoy the site, please direct any comments to me.
